Anna

Anna Deborah Disse (they/them)

is a dancer, performer, choreographer, and teacher based in Berlin. Their work explores embodied emotional states through breath, voice, and imagination.

Since June 2023, Anna has co-facilitated ‘Dreaming Bodies,’ a dance improvisation concept with Celia Morris. In December, they performed a vertical dance piece by Rixa Rottanara in Brixen, Italy. In 2023, they performed, choreographed, and produced not today with their collective dajci* at Brotfabrik Berlin.

They studied ballet and contemporary dance at Ballettakademie Hans Vogl, Balance1 Dance Academy Berlin, and Performace in Portugal, working with Ted Stoffer, Inaki Azpillaga, Magalie Lanriot, Nir de Volff, and Isael Cruz Mata

Their work is an invitation—a call to step into the present moment and experience its fullness. It is an opportunity to reflect on the human experience, not through answers, but through the aliveness of questions in motion.
